INTRODUCING JULIA STIRLING

Julia Stirling is a fibre artist located on the NSW Central Coast who transforms yarn and fabric into bold, tactile expressions of art. Her creative journey began with a simple challenge: finding a rug that matched her unique style.

When nothing fit the bill, Julia decided to make her own.

What started as a single project quickly evolved into a passion for tufting, where she now crafts one-of-a-kind rugs and wall hangings that are anything but ordinary. Drawing inspiration from the bold lines and rich symbolism of traditional tattoo art, Julia’s work brings together unexpected elements, creating pieces that are both striking and full of character.

Julia also specialises in creating pet portraits, capturing the essence and personality of beloved animals in a medium that brings warmth and charm to any space.
